Arthur Pita is an award-winning choreographer/director based in London and working internationally. Select works include: A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (DekkaDances); GOOD VIBRATIONS (Houston Ballet); A DREAM WITHIN A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Ballet Black); BJORK BALLET (San Francisco Ballet); THE METAMORPHOSIS (Linbury Covent Garden and The Joyce Theatre New York); THE WIND (Royal Ballet), and AGNES DEI a dance film with music by Rufus Wainwright.
Work in film and television includes: Tom Jones (ITV); Persuasion (Netflix); The Pursuit of Love (BBC); Charlie’s Angels; Sunshine on Leith; and Ex Machina.
Arthur is Artistic Director of Ballo Arthur Pita which produces critically acclaimed and accessible dance-theatre, including TEN SORRY TALES, a co-commission by DanceEast and Sadlers Wells, and THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL, which has toured the UK and internationally since 2014.
